Privacy Policy

This policy explains what VisualEdge collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written to describe what the software actually does rather than to cover every hypothetical.
We never see your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Paddle, our merchant of record. Card numbers are never sent to or stored on our systems.
What the app collects
VisualEdge contacts our licence server only to activate your key and to periodically confirm it is still valid. Those requests contain:

| Hardware ID | A one-way hash derived from a Windows system identifier, used to bind a licence to one machine. It is not reversible and does not identify you personally. |
| IP address | Recorded only to rate-limit repeated failed activation attempts, which is what stops someone brute-forcing licence keys. Not used for tracking or analytics. |
| Timestamps | Activation and last-seen times, so expiry can be enforced on a clock we control rather than one that can be changed on the client. |
What the app does not collect
- No screenshots or screen contents leave your PC. The live preview, auto-calibrate, and screenshot features process images entirely on your machine.
- No gameplay, telemetry, or usage analytics. We do not track which games you run, your settings, or how you use the app.
- No keystroke or input logging. The aim trainer reads mouse input only while its own window is open, and that data never leaves your computer.
- No advertising or third-party trackers.
What we collect when you buy
Paddle collects the information needed to process your order and passes us your email address and order reference so we can issue and support your licence key. We use your email only to send your key and to reply to support requests. We do not send marketing email.
Paddle's handling of your payment data is covered by Paddle's privacy policy.
Who processes your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Licence records are kept while the licence is active, and afterwards as needed to handle support, refunds, and abuse — lifetime keys are kept indefinitely because the licence itself does not expire.
- Failed-activation records used for rate limiting are short-lived and automatically superseded.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. Email us and we will action it.
Note that deleting your licence record invalidates the licence itself — we cannot keep a key working while erasing the record that makes it work.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Paddle's checkout may set cookies necessary to process your payment; those are covered by Paddle's policy.
Children
VisualEdge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
